Karl Lagerfeld is a German fashion designer and photographer, the creator of the famous Fendi brand’s logo (FF), and a lifelong creative director of the Chanel fashion house. Out of his characteristic style – a white shirt with a high collar, tie, sunglasses, and Choupette the cat – a calico Birman cat – he made a brand under his first and last name. The logo and at the same time the icon of the designer has become the brand’s trademark and the leading motif of all designs. In the latest collection for the Spring/Summer 2022 season, the brand combines the past, the present, and the future. A distinctive look of the designs is a result of the combination of inspirations from the ’80s with modern details. The SS22 propositions mainly consist of T-shirts, sweatshirts, pants, jackets, and accessories: baseball caps, sachets, bags, or footwear: flip-flops, trainers, and sneakers. The spring-summer portfolio is complemented by the Boxing capsule collection, inspired by Sébastien Jondeau’s – Karl Lagerfeld’s long-time assistant – passion for sports. All elements in the collection are decorated with an iconic Rue St-Guillaume’s logo.
